Extracting Text from a PDF File
To copy a paragraph or longer passage from a PDF file, click on the Select
Text button or choose it from the Tools menu. The cursor changes from an arrow (or other symbol, depending on which tool you were using beforehand)
to an I-beam insertion cursor. Place the cursor at the beginning of the
text you want to copy, hold down the mouse button and drag until you have
highlighted the block of text you wish to copy. Release the mouse button.
To copy the selected text to the Clipboard, select "Copy" from
the Edit menu or type Control-C (Windows) or Command-C (Macintosh). Open
your word processing application and Paste the text into it, using Control-V
or Command-V or "Paste" from the Edit menu.
